Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is a skilled hitman, known as a "mechanic", who works for a secret organization. After his mentor and friend, Harry (Donald Sutherland), is murdered, Bishop takes on an apprentice, Steve (Ben Foster), Harry's son.

As Bishop trains Steve in the art of killing, they form a bond, and Bishop begins to question his own morality. However, their partnership is put to the test when they're assigned to kill Harry's actual murderer, who is revealed to be a high-ranking member of their organization.

Bishop and Steve must use their skills to take down their target and navigate the treacherous world of hitmen, all while confronting their own demons and loyalty to each other.

The movie is an action-packed thriller with plenty of twists and turns, exploring themes of loyalty, redemption, and the consequences of violence.
